DAVID GEDDES
David has spent his entire career in and around share ownership – from poring over the registers of UK listed companies as a graduate, to pioneering ownership analytics in the Australian market. Along the way he founded investor relations firm Orient Capital which became the world’s largest analyser of share registers, delivering data that has transformed how listed companies interact with their institutional shareholders.

By a quirk of fate Paul joined Orient Capital when he wasn’t looking for a career, but over the course of the next 25 years he and David built Orient Capital into the global force it has now become. He has a wealth of experience in financial services, technology, operations and data analytics and was formally CEO Corporate Markets at Link Group (now MUFG Pension & Market Services). He holds a Masters in Management Information Systems from University College Dublin and a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from UTS.

Kelvin also joined Orient Capital at an early stage in his career - whilst doing Commerce and IT at UNSW. Since then he has become an acknowledged expert in the mechanics of share ownership analytics. Along his journey he leveraged his IT background to implement systems that facilitated Orient Capital’s growth in analytics, led the operational and research teams to deliver this and pioneered innovations in how listed companies raise equity capital.
